foxy Posted November 8, 2012 Report Posted November 8, 2012 i have a 2002 ford galaxy and my numberplate lights has stopped working i have changed the bulbs and they still dont work so was wondering if there is a fuse i could check any advice please Quote
snappy Posted November 8, 2012 Report Posted November 8, 2012 (edited) you might want to check the connections to the bulb. Just give the bulb a wiggle or take it out and replace or rub the connection with sand paper or a nail file. They can corrode. Also check the earth is good by doing the same as the bulb. If all ur lights are working it won't be the fuse. If you have a volt meter c if you have power there. Edited November 8, 2012 by snappy Quote

Consult the Tech FAQs, there are 3 threads expllaining in great detail with pics Quote
dlt1617 Posted November 8, 2012 Report Posted November 8, 2012 I have to agree with Seatkid the wiring in the gaitor on the top right of the tailgate is the most likely candidate if the fuses have been checked. Not an over technical repair, when I repaired mine quite a few of the wires had broken but strangely everything worked! Best wishes Dave Quote
